A quick walkthrough of the shop locator - see how to find yarn shops near you or anywhere in the world.

Go to Tools → Find Yarn Shops. The shop locator shows yarn shops on a map, starting from your current location. You can browse nearby shops or search for shops anywhere in the world.

Type a city, region, or address in the search bar - for example, "Oslo". The map moves to that location and shows all yarn shops in the area. Each pin represents a shop, and you can scroll through the list below the map to see shop names, ratings, and distances.

Tap a shop to open its detail page. Here you'll find the full address, opening hours, phone number, website link, and a directions button that opens your preferred maps app. You can also see photos and community reviews.

On the map, tap a shop pin for directions. On mobile, this opens your Maps app for turn-by-turn navigation.

Tap Add Shop to manually add a yarn shop that isn't listed on Ravelry. Enter the shop name, address, and any other details you want to save. This makes it possible to keep track of shops from any source — local markets, online stores, or shops you discover while travelling.

The Brands tab shows which yarn brands the shop carries. Follow a brand to search yarns from that manufacturer. This is a great way to find specific brands near you when planning a yarn crawl.
