28I want to use the app offline

Pre-load projects, patterns, and PDFs for offline access

1
Enable Offline Mode

Go to Settings → Offline to configure offline access. Choose which content you want available without internet: projects, stash entries, patterns, queue items, and more.

Configure other settings in App Settings.
2
Choose What to Download

Select the content types you want cached locally. Projects include photos, notes, and counter data. Stash entries include yarn details and photos. Pattern PDFs are downloaded separately.

Tip: Download only what you need to save storage — a single project with photos takes much less space than your entire stash.
3
Download Your Data

Tap download to cache your selected content. A progress indicator shows how much data has been synced. This works best on WiFi for the initial download.

4
Browse Offline

When you lose connection, Stash2Go automatically switches to offline mode. An indicator shows you're offline. Browse your cached projects, stash, and patterns as normal.

Tip: Row counters work fully offline — count rows at your cabin retreat and sync when you're back.
Learn about counters in Track Your Rows and Rounds.
5
Sync When Back Online

When you reconnect, Stash2Go syncs any changes you made offline — counter updates, notes, and more — back to Ravelry.
